Visit by dignitaries – A report.

A team of distinguished guests headed by Br. I. Syed Ahmed Saheb, retired principal, Govt. PU College, Mysore, paid a visit to Touheed institutions, Ganguli on Sunday, 21st December 2008. Along with him were Alhaj Arif Hussain, (Ex- Mayor, Mysore city Corporation, Mysore), Alhaj Taj Pasha Saheb (Retd. Engineer, KPTCL, Mysore), Br. Meer Habibullah (Businessman, Mysore), Hafiz Mufti Muhammed Adil Saheb (Qazi, Siddiquiya Arabic College, Mysore), Hafiz Muhammed Affroz Saheb (Masjid-al-mairaj, Mysore), Alhaj Syed Zafrullah Saheb (Businessman, Mysore), Jeddah Muhammed Ali (Businessman, Mysore) and Br. G.M. Aseem ( businessman, Mysore)

 

The guests were apprised of each and every details of the functioning of the Touheed institutions. They expressed their satisfaction about the on-goings of Touheed. They also frankly placed their satisfaction about the standard of education, discipline, cleanliness, decorum, manners and obedience among the students. The guests were introduced by Br. Faizuddin Manegar, Joint secretary of Touheed.

 

Prize Distribution Programme at “Touheed institutions” Ganguli – A report.

Prize distribution programme of the Touheed Girls’ Pre-university College and Touheed English Medium School, Ganguli was held on Sunday, 28th December 2008 at the school auditorium. The programme started at 2.30pm with prayer.

 

The function was presided over by Br. Faizuddin Manegar, Joint Secretary of Touheed. Br. Imthiyaz Ahmed MH, (CEO, Adamally’s, Dubai) was the chief guest on the occasion. Mr. M. Shanker Kharvy, Principal and Mr. Mahadev Banavalikar, Headmaster were also present on the dias.

 

Ms. Rehana, lecturer TGPUC welcomed the gathering. The reports pertaining to the Girls’ college and the school were presented by the principal and the headmaster respectively.

 

The dignitaries gave away the prizes to the students ranging from KG to PUC for their excellence in academics, extra curricular activities and sports. Three students (two from PUC and one from SSLC) were awarded with special prizes for the coveted ‘distinction’ they got in their last academic board exams. Students passed out last year from our institutions with “First class” also received their awards.

 

Our students who had appeared for the ‘Open Islamic Course’ annual exams conducted by the ‘Moulana Abul Hasan Ali Nadvi Islamic Academy, Bhatkal for 2007-08 won laurels and ‘Touheed’ bagged 3 gold and 6 silver medals for their excellent performance in Islamiyath. These medals were also awarded to the winners in this programme.

 

Ms. Khurshid compeered the programme. Ms. Afsari proposed vote of thanks.

Over 600 audiences were present in the auditorium. Refreshments were served.

 

 

Touheed Girls’ Pre-University College and Touheed English Medium School, Ganguli – Inauguration of the Annual Sports Meet – A report.

A two day ‘Annual Sports Meet’ of the Touheed Girls’ PU College and the Touheed English Medium School, Ganguli was held on 1st December 2008 at the ‘Touheed’ play grounds.

The inaugural programme started at 9.30am with recitation of the versus from the Holy Qur’an.

Dr. Naveen Kumar Charles, Principal, Green Valley National School, Shiruru, after receiving the guard of honor from the students, inaugurated this grand event by hoisting the school flag. His address to the audience, especially to the students was very motivating and purposeful with tips to acquire a ‘healthy mind in a healthy body’.

Brs. Zafruddin AM, Muhammed Riyaz Kazi and Awoof Shabuddin (NRI dignitaries) along with Shri. M.G.Banavalikar, (HM), Shri. M.Shanker Kharvy (Principal) and Akhther Ahmed Khan, Administrator, were on the dias.

The Meet ended on 2nd December 2008.

  

“Mission Save Environment”- a Marathon by the students of Touheed- A report.

To create an awareness of saving our precious environment, a ‘Marathon’ was organized by the students of Touheed English Medium School, Ganguli on 30th November 2008. The Sub-Inspector of Police, Ganguli Police Station, Mr. Thimmaraju inaugurated the event at the starting point Gujjadi. This one kilometer marathon, in which over 50 students participated, ended at the school grounds.

Br. Waliullah, (Walli Bothello, Ex- Panchayath member) was the Chief Guest. Mr. G.M.Banavalikar (HM), K.M.Iqbal, Imthiyaz Ahmed Kazi, Sheikh Imam Nazeer (Trustees of Touheed) were present on the occasion.

Muhammed Shareef and Samar Arihole, the students of X std bagged the first and second prize respectively.
