60th ‘Republic Day’ celebrations at ‘Touheed’ Ganguli – A report.

60th ‘Republic Day’ was celebrated jointly by the Touheed Girls’ Pre-university College and the Touheed English Medium School, Ganguli on Monday, 26th January 2009 at the school premises.

 

The national tricolor was hoisted by the Principal Shree. M. Shanker Kharvy. Mr. Mahadev. G. Banavalikar, (HM) and Mr. Akhther Ahmed Khan, (Administrator) were present. Mr. Kharvy addressed the audience highlighting the importance of safeguarding the constitution of India.

 

Patriotic songs were rendered by the students. Speeches were made by the students and the teachers as a part of the celebration. Ms. Mohini Attimony (Vice-principal) compeered the programme.

 

During these festivities Mr. Muhammed Ibrahim Moulana, one of the prominent marine industrialists (M/s. Quality Foods) of Goa paid his esteemed visit to ‘Touheed’. He was received by the administrator and other heads of the institutions with great respect and warmth. The distinguished guest expressed his appreciations about the activities of Touheed both in educational as well as social service over the years.

 

 

 

 

Counseling cum Career guidance session at ‘Touheed’ Ganguli- A report.

Counseling cum career guidance session was organized exclusively for the students as well as for their parents of SSLC and II year PUC at the Touheed Girls’ Pre-university College hall on Sunday, 18th January 2009.

 

Renowned JC trainer and one of the prominent resource persons Mr. Prakash Naviloor, Principal of the Government Pre-University College, Bidkalkatte, conducted this session.

 

The inaugural session was held at 10.30am. Ibadullah Chougley rendered ‘Qirath’. On the dias were Mr. Prakash Naviloor, Mr. M. Shanker Kharvy, (Principal) and Mr. M.G.Banavalikar (HM). Mr. Banavalikar introduced Mr. Prakash to the audience. Mr. Shanker Kharvy highlighted the importance of the professional and timely guidance to the students as well as to their parents with regard to preparation for the exams and the decision to be taken in choosing future studies after the board exams.

 

The session for the parents was conducted from 10.45 am to 11.45 am. After a short break, the session for the students was conducted till 1.30 pm.

 

Over 70 students along with their parents participated in this session.  Both the sessions were very effective and successful.

“Talents Day” celebrations at Touheed Public School, Shiruru- A Report.

  

Annual ‘Talents Day’ was celebrated at Touheed Public School, Shiruru on Sunday, 4th January 2009 at the school grounds.

 The function started at 2.30pm with recitation of versus from the Holy Qur’an. Br. Inayatullah Madikal, Vice-president of Touheed Educational Trust, Ganguli, presided. On the dias were Br. Kazi Imtiyaz Ahmed (Correspondent) and Br. Hussaini Baig (HM- Touheed Public School, Shiruru).

 

The dignitaries later gave away the prizes to the winners for their excellence in curricular and extra-curricular activities. After the prize distribution, the students entertained the gathering by exhibiting their talents.

 

Ms. Hafia Habib, asst teacher welcomed the gathering. Ms. Khadeeja, asst teacher, proposed vote of thanks. Br. Nayeem-ul-huq (Co-ordinator) compeered the programme. Refreshments were served to all the 500 plus audience. The programme concluded at 5.00pm.
