Touheed News Bulletin

“Successful people do not do different things, they do things differently….” goes the saying.

Students of the PUC / SSLC of our institutions have done such a thing so differently in their recently concluded finals….They have achieved this fete by revamping the available resources provided to them by the school, dedicated and persistent efforts put by their respective teachers, their own will to swim across currents have done nothing out of ordinary….they have, instead, done ordinary things in an extra-ordinary way!!

Not many of these ‘high profile students’ and ‘go-getters’ were students of high intellect. Many were, in fact, ordinary students with an average IQ. But the one factor which has probably out-weighed all others and enabled them to pull it off was their courage to accept the challenge!

The students of our Touheed Girls’Pre-universityCollege, Ganguli who appeared for their final year exams (2010-11) registered an overall pass of 90% (Arts – 96% and commerce – 85%) with one distinction and 24 First classes.

The students of ourTouheedEnglishMediumSchool, Ganguli passed out with an overall 98% in their final SSLC exams for 2010-11. This accomplishment includes 4 distinctions and 28 First classes.

The students of ourTouheedPublic School, Shiruru, in their final SSLC exams 2010-11, have registered an overall pass of 69% – with one distinction.

Congratulations to the students, their ebullient mentors and the parents for this stupendous achievement!

Dear brothers, we have always felt the need to have a distinct shift in focus from externally defined quality of education to the internally defined one. In order to infuse quality in the standard of education, to involve the students, teachers and most importantly the parents, we have devised many an innovative concepts like…..

Feedback:

A simple but comprehensive questionnaire is handed over to each and every parent once in six months seeking their valuable feed back relating to their wards to enable us to know ‘where exactly we stand’. On the basis of the information received we strive to re-organize our strategies for the betterment of the standard of education and various facilities provided to the students as well.

Home-study time table:

The students are provided with a detailed ‘home study time table’ wherein hours at home are spread out for their studies, revision, prayers, extra-curricular activities and play. The daily routine at home is being followed up at school through regular contacts, ‘open-house’, random phone calls and at times personal visits. This has resulted in a transformation and a positive awareness, hitherto unheard, among the parents and students in matters pertaining to studies, behavior, etiquettes, culture and discipline.

Dear brothers, Alhamdulillah, over the years, by dint of hard work, dedication of the teachers, faith reposed on us by the parents and the whole-hearted support, co-operation and patronage bestowed by the well wishers like YOU, we have been able to build this institution brick by brick without sparing any efforts and transform ‘Touheed’ into a centre of educational excellence with a prime objective of providing our children a unique blend of quality education of the ‘Deen and Duniya’.

 Position at a glance:
