Mr. Muhammed Ibrahim Moulana, Goa visits “Touheed” -A Report

On Saturday, 2nd April 2011, Mr. Muhammad Ibrahim Moulana, one of the illustrious businessmen & Exporters (M/s Quality Foods, Cuncolim, Salcete, Goa) paid his esteemed visit to the ‘Touheed’ institutions. He was received by the trustees Brs. Faizuddin Manegar, Inayatullah Madikal and Akhter Ahmed Khan.

 During his brief sojourn at the school and college premises, the distinguished guest was apprised of the latest developments of the Touheed. Mr. Ibrahim expressed his appreciation on the overall performance of the Touheed. While offering his humble prayers to the Almighty Allah, he assured us of his continued help, support and co-operation in future as well.

Br. Muzaffar Cola, Bhatkal visits ‘Touheed’ institutions – A report.

 

Janab. Muzaffar Cola, (President of the Nounihal central School, Bhatkal) one of our fervent and ardent well wishers visited the ‘Touheed’ institutions, Ganguli on Sunday, 27th February 2011.

With him were Brs. Shabir Wani, Abdul Qayyum Saheb (Businessmen from Kashmir) and Moulana Moosa Nadvi (Administrator of Nounihal Central School, Bhatkal.)

Br. Abdul Khaliq and other trustees received the distinguished guests.

The illustrious guests went round the entire campus.  Br. Muzaffar expressed his appreciations on the overall discipline, cleanliness and the efforts being taken by the management towards providing value based modern education to the students. He further assured all possible help and continued patronage from his side in future as well.

Br. Abdul Khaliq, acknowledging the longstanding help, support, guidance and co-operation being extended by him, presented mementos to the visiting dignitaries.

“Annual Day” of the “DINA” – School for Special Education & Rehabilitation, Shiruru- A report.

The ‘Annual Day’ of our “DINA” – Special School, Shiruru was celebrated on Sunday, 27th February 2011 at the school premises.

 The function was presided over by Br. Abdul Hameed Shaikhji (Treasurer – Touheed Trust, Ganguli). Renowned speaker Mr. H. Ravindra, Principal of the ‘Vagjyoti’ Special School, Ampar was the Chief Guest.  Others on the dias were Br. Nazeer Imam Shaikh, Br. Imtiaz Ahmed Kazi (Touheed Trust) and Ms. Divya, HM of Dina. Ms. Zubeda, HM of Touheed Public School, Shiruru was also present on the occasion.

 The Chief Guest addressing the parents said that the students with mental deficiencies are different only in the IQ and certainly not inferior to other normal children.  Giving some important and valuable tips and guidance he said the parents of these kinds of children have lot of responsibilities in bringing them up with love, care, sympathy, motivation and compassion.

 Br. Abdul Hameed Shaikhji, in his address applauded the pains being taken by the parents of these students in bringing them up. The Almighty surely will bless them with abundant fortunes in reciprocation of their self-less services, he added.

 The guests on the dias and the gathering on this occasion acknowledged the generosity and support being extended by the great visionary and the mainstay behind this institution Br. Syed Abdul Khader (Bashu).

 Prizes / awards were given away to the students by the dignitaries. Later the students displayed their talents which were applauded by the entire audience.

 Ms. Divya presented school report. Ms. Suwarna welcomed. Ms. Nalini anchored. Ms. Shailashree proposed vote of thanks.

“Special Olympics” for the mentally challenged and hearing impaired children was held recently at Manipal. The students of our ‘DINA’ Shiruru have displayed their best and have bagged the awards as detailed below:

Touheed Girls’ PU College & Touheed English Medium School, Ganguli – “Annual Day Functions” – A Report.

  

The ‘Annual Day Function’ of the Touheed Girls’ PU College and Touheed English Medium School, Ganguli was held on Sunday, 9th January 2011 at the school grounds.

The function was presided over by Ms. Zubeida, HM of the Touheed Public School, Shiruru. Sr. Maria Nandika, Asst teacher, Stella Maris High School, Ganguli, Ms. Fahina Mushrifun Nakhuda, Ms. Tazeen Abdul Wahid Nakhuda were the chief guests. Ms. Rehana (lecturer) and Ms. Mehjabeen pathan (HM) were also on the dias.

The programme started at 9.30am with the ‘Qirat’ rendered by Muhammad Variq Mali followed by Dua and Hamd rendered by Shariq and Fuzail respectively. The guests were introduced by Ms. Riha Rehman Kazi.

Sr. Maria Nandika in her address emphasized the importance to be accorded to education in general and education to the girls in particular. She expressed her contentment on the efforts being taken of late by the minority communities in the arena of education and health.

Ms. Fahina and Ms. Tazeen, both from the ‘Touheed’ alumni, recalled their childhood days spent with their alma mater. The dignitaries on the dias gave away the prizes to the students. Ms. Arfath read out the names of the winners.

Ms. Zubeida in her presidential address advised the parents to strictly adhere to compulsory education of their children, especially of their girls. She lamented on the frame of mind of most of the parents of providing higher education to the boys and depriving their daughters of this statutory and lawful right. She appealed to the parents not to discriminate on the basis of gender, instead, motivate their daughters to go for higher education.

Ms. Fasawwa Fazal MH welcomed. The college and the school reports were presented by Ms. Rehana and Ms. Mehjabeen Pathan respectively. Ms. Aqsa Intiqab MH proposed vote of thanks. Mementos were presented to the dignitaries on behalf of the Touheed institutions.

A colorful entertainment programme by the tiny tots coupled with breath taking ‘Pyramids’ by the senior boys was presented later. Ms. Farazi Manzoor, Ms. Zeeba and Ms. Jasira anchored this segment. Over 1300 parents attended the function.

Annual Day Celebrations at Touheed Public School, Shiruru – A Report.

“Annual Day” of the Touheed Public School, Shiruru was celebrated at the school grounds on Sunday, 26th December 2010 at 9.30am. The function was presided over by Mr. Nazeer Imam Sheikh, Trustee, Touheed Educational Trust, Ganguli. Mr. M. Shankar Kharvy, Principal, Touheed Girls’ PU College, Ganguli, Mr. M. N. Sherugar, Vice-Principal, Govt. PU College, Byndoor and Ms. Divya, HM, ‘DINA’ – School for Special Education & Rehabilitation, Shiruru were the guests of honor. Mr. Kharvy, in his address, emphasized the importance of education in life. “Education is knowledge…knowledge is power…hence education is power…anything could be achieved through education…tripartite relationship consisting of the teachers, parents and the students must be strengthened for an overall accomplishment…” he added. Mr. Sherugar while applauding the efforts of the management of Touheed for their labors in promoting education in the area, admonished the parents against showing discriminination among their children on the basis of their academic excellence. This will, he cautioned, lead to inferiority complex among them. The distinguished guests gave away the prizes to the students excelling in studies as well as in extra-curricular activities. The stage programme started with ‘Qirat’ by Shabi Ahmed. Ms. Poornima Bhat welcomed the gathering. Ms. Zubeda, (HM) presented the school report. Ms. Fatima Yussra compeered the programme. Ms. Ismat Khalid read out the names of the winners. Ms. Aliya proposed vote of thanks. An attractive and colorful cultural programme followed immediately with exhibition of talents by the tiny tots, primary level students and also the breath-taking “Pyramid” by senior boys. Ms. Ashfiya Samreen, Ms. Samreen Roshan and Ms. Khadeeja Affra anchored this segment.

“Parents’ Meeting” held at DINA- A Report.

The Parents-teachers Meeting of the “DINA” – School for Special Education & Rehabilitation, Shiruru was held on Saturday, 27th November 2010 at the school premises.

Mr. Abdul Hameed Shaikhji, (Treasurer, Touheed Trust, Ganguli) presided. Mr. Nazeer Imam Shaikh (Trustee, Touheed Trust, Ganguli) was the special guest.

Ms. Zubeda, HM of Touheed Public School, Shiruru was the guest speaker.Mr. Shaikhji rendered invocation and later delivered his presidential address.

Mr. A A Khan, Administrator of Touheed briefed the gathering about the future policies and programmes relating to the DINA and also about the proposed construction of the school building, with all necessary facilities and features of high standards, shortly on the landed property adjacent to the Touheed Public School, Shiruru.

Ms. Divya (M.Sc Psy), the newly appointed HM of DINA was officially introduced to the parents. She assured her best efforts to serve the children of special needs.

Ms. Zubeda spoke in detail about the role and responsibilities of the parents in handling of their hearing impaired, mentally challenged and children with special needs, especially after their school hours.

Some of the parents expressed their views and placed their grievances pertaining to transport facilities.

Ms. Suvarna proposed vote of thanks.

“Marathon” by the Ganguli Touheedians for peace, communal harmony and protection of our environment…A report.

“Marathon” – for peace, communal harmony and protection of our precious environment was conducted at Touheed English Medium School, Ganguli.

The Chief Guest, Br. Muhammad Yunus Khalife, secretary of the Jama’tul Muslimeen, Ganguli flagged off the ‘Marathon’. Head Mistress Ms. Mehajabeen Pathan & Br. Muhammad Salman Mali, one of our NRE patrons, were present on the occasion.

Over 25 senior students took part in this event covering the distance of about 500 meters from Naikwadi to the Touheed school grounds.

Wassaf Khaleel MH, Faisal Sawood Shaikh and Zafrullah Muhammad Fayyaz were declared as I, II and III fastest of the event respectively.

The Chief Guest later addressed the students’ assembly and gave away the prizes to the winners of the recently concluded state level drawing competitions.

Inauguration of Annual Sports Events at Touheed Public School, Shiruru – A Report.

The inaugural function of the Annual Sports Events of Touheed Public School, Shiruru were held at the school grounds on Wednesday, 8th December 2010.

The function was presided over by Mr. Abdul Hameed Sheikhji, (Treasurer, Touheed Educational trust, Ganguli).

Ms. Dilshad Begum, President, Shiruru Panchayat was the Chief Guest.  Ms. Zubeda, HM, was also on the dias.

The two day event was officially inaugurated by the Chief Guest by hoisting the school flag. The distinguished guests, after receiving the Guard of Honor, witnessed the display of attractive parade and some physical exercises by the students.

Ms. Zubeda, HM, administered the oath to the competing students. The President and the Chief Guest spoke on the occasion and gave away the prizes.

The function started with Dua by Shabi Ahmed (X Std.) Ms. Ambika (PT Teacher) welcomed. Ms. Poornima Shet proposed vote of thanks. Ms. Aftar Banu compeered the programme. The Closing Ceremony was held on the next day, 9th December 2010.

‘Touheed’ Institutions, Ganguli – Annual Sports Meet – Closing Ceremony – A Report.

The curtains of the ‘Annual Sports Meet’ of the Touheed institutions, Ganguli were drawn on Wednesday, 15th December 2010.

Haji Sulaiman Saheb, (Prop: Bombay Lucky Restaurant, Mangalore) Janab. Abdul Khaliq (M/s. Stoneworth Marbles, Kolya, Mangalore) Janab. Afzal Bhai (M/s. Afco Engineering, Mumbai) and Janab. S.A.Khaleel (M/s. Prime Constructions, Mangalore) were the illustrious guests on the occasion.

The distinguished dignitaries gave away the prizes to the students who emerged as winners of various competitions. Speaking to the members of the Touheed Trust, they lauded the efforts of the management in the service to the community especially in the arena of girl education and assured their patronage and support in this mission.
