“Annual Day” of the “DINA” – School for Special Education & Rehabilitation, Shiruru- A report.

The ‘Annual Day’ of our “DINA” – Special School, Shiruru was celebrated on Sunday, 27th February 2011 at the school premises.

 The function was presided over by Br. Abdul Hameed Shaikhji (Treasurer – Touheed Trust, Ganguli). Renowned speaker Mr. H. Ravindra, Principal of the ‘Vagjyoti’ Special School, Ampar was the Chief Guest.  Others on the dias were Br. Nazeer Imam Shaikh, Br. Imtiaz Ahmed Kazi (Touheed Trust) and Ms. Divya, HM of Dina. Ms. Zubeda, HM of Touheed Public School, Shiruru was also present on the occasion.

 The Chief Guest addressing the parents said that the students with mental deficiencies are different only in the IQ and certainly not inferior to other normal children.  Giving some important and valuable tips and guidance he said the parents of these kinds of children have lot of responsibilities in bringing them up with love, care, sympathy, motivation and compassion.

 Br. Abdul Hameed Shaikhji, in his address applauded the pains being taken by the parents of these students in bringing them up. The Almighty surely will bless them with abundant fortunes in reciprocation of their self-less services, he added.

 The guests on the dias and the gathering on this occasion acknowledged the generosity and support being extended by the great visionary and the mainstay behind this institution Br. Syed Abdul Khader (Bashu).

 Prizes / awards were given away to the students by the dignitaries. Later the students displayed their talents which were applauded by the entire audience.

 Ms. Divya presented school report. Ms. Suwarna welcomed. Ms. Nalini anchored. Ms. Shailashree proposed vote of thanks.
