Creativity Galore at ‘Touheed’ Exhibition

An exhibition was held as part of the Annual Day celebrations at Touheed English Medium School, Ganguli. Students of the school from various classes displayed their creativity on the occasion that attracted many an eyeball. Here are some of them:

Annual Day at ‘Touheed’ Ganguli

Annual Day of the Touheed Girls’ Pre-university College and Touheed English Medium School, Ganguli was held on Sunday 3rd January 2010 at the school grounds at 2.00pm.

The function was presided over by Ms. Jyothi (KES), HM of Netaji Govt. High School, Maravante.  Dr. Tabseera Parveen Muktesar (BDS), one of the members of the ‘Touheed Alumni’, was the Chief Guest.

Speaking on the occasion Ms Jyothi emphasized the significance of the higher education for girls. Citing the chief guest Dr Tabseera as an example, she urged the audience to attribute greater importance in furthering the education of their daughters.

Dr Tabseera threw light on the reminiscences of her childhood days spent in Touheed. She regarded the school as the platform for her present accomplishment.  

The programme started with ‘Qiraat’ rendered by Minqad Nakhuda.

Ms. Mohini Attimony (Vice-Principal) presented the annual report of the College.  Ms. Shainy Buthello read the school report.

The dignitaries were introduced by Ms. Asma and Shabnaz.

Ms. Rida, Ruby and Shahina anchored the programme. Nazifa Tuba was the master of ceremony.

Prizes were awarded to the winners in academics, sports and general proficiency. Special awards including the ‘Afeefa Award’ and the most coveted ‘Jouhar- Touheed Hall of Fame’ were also presented to the students of last year’s batch of PUC / SSLC (2008-09) for their outstanding performance.

Ms. Madeeha (PUC) welcomed the gathering. Ms. Faika Kolkar proposed vote of thanks.

Mementos were presented to the dignitaries on behalf of the Management.

The programme ended at 5.30pm. Over 1300 (lady) audience attended the function.
